a pleasant surprise in town
clean roomcomfy bedbroken door lock
the room i booked was a standard quadruple room and it was very clean and tidy. the bed was comfy and i slept well. the staff was helpful .
the bathroom door lock was not working properly and was hanging. this need some attention, as it affected my privacy.

polite hostbad tv receptionslow wifi
the host at the desk seemed polite and very kind, so i suppose that met my expectations.
the tv had bad reception. the wifi was painfully slow, like dial-up days. there was only one glass in the room, and i could not find a spoon to stir my coffee.

loose cablesthick dust
The room needed some serious help. cables hung loose from under the tv, including a booster aerial which was annoying, and i could not find even a spoon to stir my tea. then, someone was shouting on their phone near reception for what was like forever in the early hours. I couldn't sleep! the carpet had a thick layer of dust under the bed. It clearly had not been cleaned properly in ages.

broken door locksmashed outlet
The room was clean initially. the broken door lock concerned me. I found a smashed electric outlet also. The thin cushions provided little support, and the unprofessional staff did not improve matters. I could hear everything from other rooms. Ultimately, I had to purchase my own cups. I left feeling quite disappointed.
